Hats Off to the Lighthouse Beer Festival

Lighthouse Beer & Wine shop has turned its annual Beer Festival into an epic event this year. An entire Beer Week full of hoppy activities fill the nights of Oct. 12 through Oct. 19. Saturday, Oct. 20 culminates Beer Week with the Lighthouse Beer Festival from 1 to 5PM. The festival is always held on the third Saturday in October and this year’s list of brews, music and food stands as the best lineup yet.

Over 100 craft breweries and vendors will be present on the day of the festival, offering a taste of their beers and wine. Whether you are excited for the fall seasonals, a fan of traditionally-made classic brews or a wandering wine aficionado, you are only a hop, grape and a jump away from something delicious. A full list and guide to the festival is available here. And fear not, after all of the beer and wine sipping, Flaming Amy’s Burrito Barn, Mellow Mushroom and Poor Piggy’s will all be serving tasty fare. Live music will go on all day with a local favorite kicking it off and the Black Lillies from Knoxville, TN showcase later on.

Tickets are available online or in the Lighthouse Beer & Wine store starting at $40 for beer and wine tasting tickets. There are designated driver tickets available, as well as free taxis from 3PM on for all residents within greater Wilmington. Tickets include admission, a tasting glass and endless beer and wine (dependent upon your ticket type). The festival address is 3400 Randall Parkway and the drinks will flow rain or shine.
