Keith & Drew’s Corner – March 2020
March is a month filled with luck and we are reminded just how LUCKY we are to live in a beautiful place like Wilmington, NC! Longer days and warmer temps are HERE and preparations for Wilmington’s BIGGEST show of the year — the Azalea Festival — are in motion!
As for the Real Estate market, we have not seen much of a winter slow down this year and there doesn’t seem to be anytime left for one! Low interest rates continue to drive buyer’s to the market and refinances are in full swing as well. The only negative here is that inventory remains low and most people taking advantage of a refinance have likely decided to stay in their home for a few more years, which could be adding to the lower inventory. If you’re in the market to buy or sell, be aware that appraisers and lenders will be doing double-time with the refinance business, so be sure to give enough time during your due diligence to allow for any delays!
Our awesome builder team is doing their best to keep up with the demand of new homes and thankfully we still have many more available opportunities in all of our communities! In February, we closed out our Downtown Wilmington townhome, Indie Ice, but not to worry we have available condos along the Downtown Riverwalk in River Place. However, only a few remain as we will begin to close this project soon.
Pacific Place, Osprey Cove and Windemere are all bustling with activity and bring new options to the market this Spring, so be sure to check them out and request the most updated information from our team, 910.509.1924.
The Keith Beatty Team is working hard and excited for the months ahead as we begin to welcome many of the visitors from the ideal-LIVING Resort & Retirement Expos that we attended this winter throughout the northeast! Our Discovery Package is a great way to discover the area first-hand. Along with a personalized tour of the area and insight into the real estate market here guests enjoy a gift card to check out one of our local favorite dining spots!
Here at the office we tend use the phrase “the harder we work the luckier we get!” Now we honestly like to consider ourselves very good at what we do and we certainly don’t rely on luck! However, we have been so successful through the years with our hard work that we have the pleasure of getting to know so many great people in our town and across the globe! With those relationships and contacts, we are able to make so much more happen for our clients! So I’d like to say thank you to everyone that has trusted us through the years and we feel “lucky” to know you! Have a great March and please let us know how we can help you reach your real estate dreams!
